No Time to Die in Real 3D

No Time to Die in Real 3D

Wow!! Finally… “No Time to Die”. This installment finds James Bond attempting to live a normal life in Jamaica. He is no longer with the agency and is enjoying a peaceful life.

James’s peaceful life is short lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA contacts him needing his help. The mission is to find a Scientist who has been kidnapped. The mission ends up being far more dangerous than expected. The trail leads Bond to a mysterious villain who is armed with a dangerous new weapon. The story unfolds from there…

I will miss Daniel Craig as James Bond. He is cool as a cucumber in this installment. He dispatches bad guys with style and grace.

This installment leaves nothing out. The movie has tons of action, suspense, intrigue and a few special effects. The cinematography is on point. The story is rich with a back and a front. The 3D aspects were very good.

While “Skyfall” and “Casino Royale” are two of the very best Bond installments from Dan Craig, “No Time to Die” is right there with them.

If you are a James Bond fan “No Time to Die” should not be missed.

“No Time to Die” is only available in Theaters.

This is a 4 ½ Star Movie!!

The Little Things in AMC Dolby

The Little Things in AMC Dolby

“The Little Things” is a Complicated Crime Thriller with twists and turns and holes in its plot and story.

Denzel Washington plays Joe “Deke” Deacon, an LA Sheriff who at one time was a Detective on the Los Angeles Police force.

Young Women are being murdered in Los Angeles. There is a serial killer on the loose. The cases are piling up and not being solved. While on some Sheriff related business in downtown LA, Joe Deacon comes in contact with some of the old department buddies. Joe is invited to assist on the open cases, so he stays in town, gets a hotel room and starts to review the evidence and the existing crime scenes. The story unfolds from there…

There are several smaller stories in “The Little Things” that should have been further developed. There are parts of the movie that echo Joe Deacon’s past as a Detective and should have been explored a bit more. It could have helped with the overall story and possibly the plot scenario. The movie is complicated and suspenseful. Denzel does the best with what he is given. “The Little Things” is not one of Denzel’s best movies.

If you are a die-hard Denzel fan, then by all means do see “The Little Things” in the theater.

If you have HBO MAX see it for free!

Dolittle

Robert Downey Jr. sheds his Marvel Universe Super Hero persona to play Dr. John Dolittle, who is an eccentric doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England.

After losing his wife seven years earlier, Dr. Dolittle became a hermit, hiding away from the public eye. His only companions are the animals that he previously cared for. He talks to them and plays with them.

A messenger from the Queen summons Dr. Dolittle when the young queen falls ill and no one is able to determine what is wrong. Once Dr. Dolittle diagnoses the symptoms the queen exhibits, he then goes on a journey to locate a cure. The story unfolds from there…

“Dolittle” is definitely not Robert Downey Jr’s best work. During most of the movie the dialog from Robert Downey Jr. is not understandable. There is some comic relief that comes from the animals, but there aren’t any other redeemable qualities about the movie. It seems like it was just thrown together with no thought about a plot.

Young children may find “Dolittle” entertaining, but the movie is not worth the price of admission. The paid critics did not like “Dolittle”. I should have skipped it.
