Wrath of Man

Jason Statham shows you what revenge really looks like in “Wrath of Man”. A Robbery of an Armored Car leaves many dead, some are innocent casualties.  This is what fuels the plot and motive of the movie.   

There are many flashbacks in “Wrath of Man”, so it’s very important to pay attention. The story does come together nicely at the end, but you have to wade through the saga to get there.

“Wrath of Man” contains the right amount of action, suspense and intrigue to make it a movie worth watching on the big screen. Everything clicks on all cylinders.

“Wrath of Man” quietly opened in theaters on May 7th. It’s still playing at the box office. Catch it if you can.

Those Who Wish Me Dead

“Those Who Wish Me Dead” is about a Smoke Jumper and a traumatized young boy who are fighting for their lives as they make their way through a National Survival Forest fleeing from two relentless Assassins.

On the surface, “Those Who wish Me Dead” looked to be a very meaty story, but in reality, the back story and plot are mysteriously missing.  Several incidents occur at the beginning of the movie, but the reason is not quite clear. It is a true mystery thriller. 

The cast of characters is pretty deep with undeveloped back stories. I have to applaud Angelina Jolie! She is always playing a strong tough woman. 

There is plenty of action and intrigue, but that is not enough to make-up for the missing back story or plot.

In addition to being on the big screen, “Those Who Wish Me Dead” is streaming on HBO MAX. You have choices as to where you see it.

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse

A Tom Clancy movie that’s not on the Big Screen. 

At first, I was upset that “Without Remorse” did not come to the box office. Give me a break!! This is a Tom Clancy book come to life, so I expected to see it on a big screen, but none the less it’s available on Amazon Prime.

Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse” is about an Elite Navy Seal who uncovers an International Conspiracy while seeking justice for his murdered wife and unborn child. This is the explosive original story of John Clark who is one of the most popular characters in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Universe. 

A group of Russian soldiers kills Sr. Chief John Kelly’s (Michael B. Jordan) family in retaliation for his role in a Top-Secret Ops. John Kelly makes it his personal duty to get revenge at all costs. The story unfolds from there… 

As you would expect Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse” is action packed from the start. I wanted to love it, but unfortunately the main characters appeared flat and uninviting. I stayed with it for the action, suspense and intrigue.

It’s probably just as well that it’s not on the big screen, but this is a Tom Clancy installment and Tom Clancy’s books are awesome! This installment to the screen just missed its mark.
