Spider-Man: Brand New Day in IMAX

It’s great to finally get a new Marvel Studio installment.

The Theater was PACKED for an 11:30am IMAX viewing.

Spidey has gotten folks to the theater.

It is indeed a Brand-New Day for Peter Parker fighting crime full time as Spider-Man in a world where he is not remembered by his best friends and his would-be girlfriend. The fact that his friends have moved on without Peter bothers him in a way that is disturbing even to him. This new transformation may be the only thing that can help Peter / Spider-Man as he deals with a new threat to the city he loves, a villain that no one can see. The World may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he has not forgotten them. The story unfolds from there…

The movie is full of action, intrigue and special effects. The cinematography is outstanding. The IMAX aspects are on point. You will feel like you are with Spidey as he moves thru the sky, between buildings, slinging webs etc. There are a few surprises.

The running time of 2:25 is good for what is presented.

If you are a fan of Marvel Studio and of course Spider-Man, this installment should not be missed.

Finally!!! I was able to see “Spider-Man: No Way Home” I was originally supposed to see this installment Sunday Dec 19th, but had to move my tickets to after Christmas due to some scheduling challenges. That will never happen again… 

So here we are… A bigger bolder more in your face installment with more going on than ever before. People know who Spider-Man is, this causes a clash between Super-Hero duties and his normal Peter Parker life. So, Spider-Man enlists the help of one of my favorite Super Heroes Dr. Strange to restore his secret identity to where no one knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. There are consequences from this that not only tears the world apart, but brings back the really bad villains that Spider-Man previously destroyed. The story unfolds from there…

This movie has breath-taking action and is a non-stop visual feast. You won’t be bored. The cinematography is outstanding especially when Dr. Strange is at the helm. Cracking open the multi-verse was a great idea.

Alas there is some sorrow, but with all that was going on in the movie some sorrow was bound to happen.

Spider-Man: Far from Home in AMC Dolby

“Spider-Man” is back!! He misses the guidance of “Iron Man”, but gets on with his life. Far from Home is the next installment of the Spider-Man Homecoming series.

Peter Parker and his high school pals, Ned, MJ and the rest of the gang go on a European vacation. Unfortunately peril is not far behind. Nick Fury shows up asking for Spider-Man’s help. Begrudgingly Spider-Man is forced to make an appearance several times during the vacation.
The story unfolds from there…

The action, entertainment and intrigue are non-stop. The cinematography and special effects are on point! All I can say about the camera angles are wow!!

The story is a bit long and at times drags a bit, but the movie is still very good. There is a bit of a surprise with the plot line. If you are a Spider-Man fan, this installment should not be missed.

This is a 5 Star Movie!!

Spider-Man: Homecoming in 3D

This installment of Spider-Man is “Fresh and Entertaining”

After six installments and several lead actor changes, Marvel figured out how to energize Spider-Man and make the franchise entertaining again.

Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is fresh off his adventure with the Avengers. He returns home where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). Trying to get back to a normal life, Peter attends high school, but at the end of each day he can’t wait for school to end so he can don his Spidey suit and fight crime. Each time Spider-Man tries to save someone or stop a criminal he leaves destruction and destroyed property in his wake.

Tony Stark, Iron-Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is Spider-Man’s mentor and tries to keep Spider-Man out of trouble, but Iron-Man often has to swoop in to assist Spidey sometimes needing to rescue Spidey. Peter Parker gets wind of “The Vulture” (Michael Keaton) and a plan of destruction that the Vulture and his men are planning. Iron-Man tries to keep Spider-Man out of harms-way, but to no avail. The story unfolds from there…

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is “Fresh, Entertaining, Action-Packed, Quirky and at times a bit annoying”.
Out of the previous six installments “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is one of the best.

There is great cinematography and cool special effects. The movie was cast well. Tom Holland is perfect as the young Peter Parker.

BTW…I love Tyne Daly. It was great to see her in this movie!

If you are a “Spider-Man” fan, then “Spider-Man: Homecoming” should not be missed.
