The Devil Wears Prada 2 in AMC DOLBY

The Devil Wears Prada 2 in AMC DOLBY

I was so very excited when I learned 18 months ago that another installment was coming. The first “Devil Wears Prada” was AWESOME! My Mom and I laughed until we cried.

It’s been 20 Years. Miranda, Emily, Andy and Nigel are back! No one has missed a step!

The Team returns to the fashionable streets of New York and to the sleek offices of the Fashion Magazine known as Runway.  Let’s not forget the Fashion Capitol of the World, Paris, France is also part of this saga.

Meryl Streep has not lost a step literally. The whole team was still at the top of their Fashion Game taking things all the way to Paris Fashion Week. The clothes and shoes worn and the handbags that were carried were just outstanding.

The movie contains beautiful fashions never seen before. The team of Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Ann Hathaway and Stanley Tucci were on point, but sadly there was no plot or story to this installment. Things moved slowly at the beginning but did pick up mid-way thru the movie. There was also a cool performance by Lady Gaga.

What was done is still worth seeing if you loved the 1st installment, you enjoy fashion and Meryl Streep.

I still enjoyed the movie although there was no plot. The Dolby aspects were on point.

I saw the movie Friday Evening May 1st. The theater was packed.

“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is worth a Look.

This is a 4 Star Movie!

Interstellar: The iMAX Experience

“Interstellar” is way too long and it attempts to reach beyond its concepts.

It’s believed that mankind is coming to an end, so a team of scientists and astronauts search for life on other planets in the hopes that mankind may continue to exist beyond the stars.

“Interstellar” is a visual splendor. It will blow your mind. The cinematography and special effects are off the charts. It’s definitely a must see in IMAX so you can get the full effect.

Now for the bad news…the movie drags, its way too long and at times does not make sense. I could not wait for it to be over. I practically ran from the theater because I spent most of my afternoon there. Personally I did not like the subject matter. All that aside…Director Christopher Nolan delivers thrills and chills.

This is a 3 1/2 Star Movie!

For all you “Fast & Furious” Fans…I saw an awesome trailer of “Fast & Furious 7”. It looks really good…it opens 4/3/15
