GOAT in AMC Dolby

GOAT in AMC Dolby

FINALLY I am providing my 1st movie review in 2026!!

From the Studio that gave us Spider-Man across the Spider-Verse comes a new entertaining Animated Film, Goat.

The story follows a small Goat (Will) who has big dreams about joining the Pro League. Will soon gets a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to join the pros and play “Roar Ball” a high intensity co-ed, full contact sport that is dominated by the Fastest, Fiercest animals on the planet.

Will’s team mates are not thrilled about having a small goat on the team because he is small and his skills are unproven. But of course Will is determined to prove he belongs and he wants to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that size does not matter and “Smalls can Ball”. The story unfolds from there…

The voice cast is outstanding. The animation is excellent and the story provides a solid message for young and old. There is enough familiar action in GOAT to show it belongs among the best animated movies.

Goat is worth a look!!

This is a 4 Star Movie!!

The Secret Life of Pets 2 in 3D (Early Screening)

I was fortunate enough to be offered an opportunity to attend an early screening of “The Secret Life of Pets 2”.

It’s been 3 years since the 2016 Blockbuster that showed us what our pets are really doing when we leave home. This second installment is no different. The lives of our pets are on full display and take on new meaning after we leave for work and school each day in this second installment.

“The Secret Life of Pets 2” has its moments. The movie is funny, hilarious and entertaining. There is definitely a story.

One of the best elements of the first installment was the Poodle changing the boom box music from classical to “Acid Rock” and inviting his friends over for a party the minute his owner got on the elevator. Disappointingly the Poodle did not appear in this 2nd installment.

“The Secret Life of Pets 2” opens wide Friday June 7th. If you want to know what your pets do when you are not at home, then go see this follow-up to the 2016 Blockbuster hit.

This is a 3 ½ Star Movie!!

The Circle

“The Circle” was an utter waste of my time. It’s a let-down considering the cast!

Mae (Emma Watson) gets hired by the world’s largest and most successful Tech Social Media Company. Mae grips this opportunity like it’s a life line. She starts off slow, but soon rises thru the ranks. The Company Founder, Eamon Bailey (Tom Hanks) encourages Mae and her ideas. Mae soon embarks on an experiment that is groundbreaking and also pushes the boundaries of how we live life today, but this new experiment could also alienate her from her family. The story unfolds from there…

“The Circle” is one dimension. There is no plot and no story. The movie just goes along its merry way. You could take from the movie that not everyone is going to like you on social media, not everyone is going to agree with your opinions on social media and not everyone cares what you do on social media even if your millions of so-called friends are watching your every move every single day on social media…

“The Circle” has great actors in a bad movie. “The Circle” is the late Bill Paxton’s last movie.

This is a 1 Star Movie!
