The Woman King in AMC Dolby

The Woman King in AMC Dolby

Viola Davis is back on the big screen!! Wow!! What an entrance she has made.

“The Woman King” is a great story of the Agojie, the all-female unit of warriors who protected the West African Kingdom of Dahomey in the 1800’s with skills and a fierceness that were unmatched.

The movie is inspired by true events that did occur. The story follows the epic saga of General Nanisca (Viola Davis) as she trains the next generation of female warriors and readies them for a battle against an enemy who is determined to destroy the Dahomey People. The story unfolds from there…

Moving story, good plot, lots of action and also a bit bloody at times. The cinematography was on point. You will be on the edge of your seat for most of the 2 hours and 15 minutes. The story speaks to the empowerment of woman.

Only in Theaters, “The Woman King” is definitely worth a look.

This is a 5 Star Movie!!

No Time to Die in Real 3D

No Time to Die in Real 3D

Wow!! Finally… “No Time to Die”. This installment finds James Bond attempting to live a normal life in Jamaica. He is no longer with the agency and is enjoying a peaceful life.

James’s peaceful life is short lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA contacts him needing his help. The mission is to find a Scientist who has been kidnapped. The mission ends up being far more dangerous than expected. The trail leads Bond to a mysterious villain who is armed with a dangerous new weapon. The story unfolds from there…

I will miss Daniel Craig as James Bond. He is cool as a cucumber in this installment. He dispatches bad guys with style and grace.

This installment leaves nothing out. The movie has tons of action, suspense, intrigue and a few special effects. The cinematography is on point. The story is rich with a back and a front. The 3D aspects were very good.

While “Skyfall” and “Casino Royale” are two of the very best Bond installments from Dan Craig, “No Time to Die” is right there with them.

If you are a James Bond fan “No Time to Die” should not be missed.

“No Time to Die” is only available in Theaters.

This is a 4 ½ Star Movie!!

Captain Marvel in AMC Dolby

“Captain Marvel” opening on International Women’s Day. I am sure that was well thought out. This is a very good first installment.

The back story for Captain Marvel was played out in bits and pieces that had to be pieced together more than 3 quarters of the way through the movie.

If you are a diehard Marvel Universe fan you will be engaged. If not…This may not be your movie!

The story is about Carol Danvers journey to become one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe. Earth gets catch up in the middle of a Galactic war between several Alien Nations. Captain Marvel comes to the rescue. This is a fresh new story never seen in the Marvel Universe before. The story unfolds from there…

Fantastic cinematography!! Great camera angles. HUGH sound and visual effects and lots of action. The movie is very enjoyable seen in IMAX or AMC Dolby.
This is a 4 Star Movie!!
